Many people have a regular cleaning schedule with the same items that they clean regularly. Here are a few items that you may be forgetting about that really should be cleaned regularly.

The first item that people tend to forget about is kitchen handles. These handles can become a breeding ground for germs and bacteria if not cleaned regularly. So it’s a good idea to scrub down the kitchen cabinets, freezer, refrigerator, and oven handles once a week, or immediately after touching these handles with messy hands.

Another item that you may forget is your toothbrush holder. You should once a week sanitize this holder by hand using soap and water, or by washing it in your dishwasher.

The last item you will not want to forget about is your reusable shopping bags. These bags can start to smell and collect stains. So it’s a good idea to wash the fabric grocery bags in your laundry machine and to wipe down the plastic ones, to help to avoid your bags becoming a breeding ground for mold and bacteria.

So you may want to add these few items to your cleaning schedule to help you to keep everyone safe and healthy.
